Electrical Engineering student Denny Anggun Rezkiano, taking part in the International Youth Conference Expedition. The event was organized by Indonesia Youth Culture x Asian Youth Nations Malaysia on 12 – 17 March 2023 in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Denny Anggun Rezkiano said the International Youth Conference Expedition had several main events, namely NUS university orientation, conferences & paper presentations, visits to the Indonesian Consulate in Songkhla, visits to the Indonesia-Kuala Lumpur school, and there were additional events, namely city tours. At the conference & paper presentation event, his group and other participants from UPN V Jogja, UII, and UB won the third place award with the title of best pepper. The group created a paper entitled “Without Borders: Community Development as Optimization of Increased Creativity and Inclusive Learning based on Disability Friendly Platforms”. He said the paper that had been made discussed the issue of community development that focused on inclusive education and the development of creativity for persons with sensory disabilities (deaf, speech, blind) through digital media that is friendly to persons with disabilities.
He mentioned that by participating in this event he could gain a lot of benefits and experience. The benefits and experience, namely being able to learn the culture of other countries, learn how to innovate and how to present or convey views in front of judges who have different views because they come from other countries, learn leadership issues and digital transformation at the Indonesian Consulate, and get the opportunity to make observations educational conditions in Asia’s best universities.
