The Diponegoro University Bandhayudha Team won 3rd place and won the 2023 Best Design award for the 2023 Indonesian Robot Competition (KRI) in the KRAI division (Semarang, June 25) Diponegoro University Robotics Team. The seven divisions competing in the 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest include the Indonesian ABU Robot Competition (KRAI), the Indonesian Wheeled Football Robot Contest (KRSBI), the Indonesian Humanoid Football Robot Competition (KRSBI), the Indonesian Robot Competition SAR the Indonesian Robot Competition (KRSRI), Indonesian Art Robot Dance Competition (KRSRI), Indonesian Themed Robot Competition (KKRTMI and Indonesian Underwater Robot Competition (KRBAI) The Diponegoro University robot team won 3rd place and the best design award at the ABU Robot Competition (KRAI) Indonesian Team Bandhayudha Division as Division Representative KRAI Undip is an interdisciplinary team chaired by Miftahul Anwar (Mechanical Engineering), and consists of Sirojudin Munir, Brian Fari Firmansyah, Amalia Inana Kesuma Putri, Bima Arya Wichaksana, Muhammad Faizul Kirom, Haya Zahwa Aqilah, Sindi Octavia, Muhammad Daffa Radithya Widodo, Nindya Puspita Hapsari, Layaalin Mutmainah (Electrical Engineering), Rahmat Ginan Fatih Al Hakim, Aufa Rofiqi Abdillah, Mochamad Rizqy (Mechanical Engineering), Muhammad Sulthon Auliya (Computer Engineering) and Hafidh Shafriyan Pa Choose (D4 Mechanical Design Engineering). The Bandayudha delegation was led directly by Dr. ing. Munadi, ST., MT from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Ir. Hadha Afrsal, S.T., M.Sc., IPP from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Undip Bandhayudha team leader Miftahul Anwar said the Undip Bandhayudha team had prepared the robot for the past 6 months, starting from the system concept, design, to the completion of robot construction. The main challenge for the KRAI 2023 contest is that the team must prepare 2 types of robots with different operating mechanisms, namely Robot Rabbit (RR) and Robot Elephant (ER) which are capable of throwing rings (circles) at target posts, meaning the ABU Robocon International Competition 2023 regulations for ABU reference Robot Competition Indonesia (KRAI). The main challenge was that the robot had to get to the inner ring as quickly and as many times as possible to win one-on-one matches, so teams had to carry out regular calibrations and tests to select and throw hoops accurately bracelet. The Bandhayudha team won 3rd place after winning a match against the Bangkit Team from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). The match was very interesting where the two teams exchanged points but in the end the Bandhayudha Team won by entering the entire ring within 1 minute 50 seconds and taking all the points. In the 2023 National KRI, the Bandayudha team caught the attention of the jury and the public with a unique and effective robotic mechanism design. In the award ceremony, the Bandhayudha team also received an award, namely the group with the best design at KRAI 2023. Apart from the Bandhayudha team, there were the EWS Andromeda and EWS Bascorro teams who reached the top 8 in the KRSRI division, and the EWS Barracuda team who reached the top 16.
