On August 26, 2024, the ETSI Summer Course 2024 officially opened at the Deanery of the Faculty of Engineering. The event was attended by participants from various renowned universities, including Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Multimedia University, and University of Nottingham Malaysia.
The opening began with remarks from ETSI Chairman, Eko Handoyo, S.T., M.T., followed by the Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department, Ir. Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jamari, S.T., M.T.. After the opening session, the event continued with the presentation of material on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by Prof. Bulan Prabawani, S.Sos., M.M., Ph.D., from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Prof. Bulan emphasized the importance of understanding and implementing SDGs in all aspects of life. The day’s agenda was closed with a field visit to PLN UPDL Kedungmundu Semarang. The participants had the opportunity to learn directly in one of the PLN units, providing practical insights that enrich the learning material.
ETSI Summer Course 2024 is expected to be a place to share knowledge and experience between universities and strengthen international cooperation networks. This event will last until August 31, 2024, with various other interesting agendas.
