The Department of Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held a public lecture with the theme Power Electronics – Multiphase Inverter delivered by Dr. Anwar Muqorobin, S.T., M.T., an associate expert researcher from the Center for Research and Mechatronics, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). This activity was held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 in Building B, Room 206, and was attended by lecturers, undergraduate students, and graduate students of UNDIP Electrical Engineering.
This public lecture began with a warm welcome from the Head of the UNDIP Electrical Engineering Department, Ir. Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU, who expressed his hope that students would gain deep insight into advances in the field of power electronics. The lecture was also guided by two experienced moderators, Ir. Mochammad Facta, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and Alfia Putri Wulandari, S.T., M.T., who also enriched the discussion.
In this lecture, Dr. Anwar discussed in depth about the working mechanism & design of multiphase inverter type power electronic converters. With this public lecture activity, it is hoped that students from S1 and S2 Electrical Engineering will have additional insight into developments in the world of power electronics, especially inverters.
