The Faculty of Engineering Sports Week (POR FT) 2025, which took place in September, was an event that showcased the spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity among students of the Faculty of Engineering at Diponegoro University. In this annual event, the Department of Electrical Engineering participated with great enthusiasm, sending its best representatives to compete in various sports.
In table tennis, Electrical Engineering achieved a brilliant achievement by winning 1st place. The journey to the championship podium was not easy. Since the preliminary round, Electrical Engineering’s table tennis athletes had shown their dominance with fast, accurate, and strategic play. Every smash was greeted with loud applause from loyal Electrical Engineering supporters who gave their full support.
This fighting spirit was even more evident in the semifinals and finals. The matches were fierce, tense, and demanded high concentration. However, with composure and strong mental fortitude, the Elektro players were able to control the game and ultimately emerge as champions. The proud Elektro athletes performed confidently from the early rounds to the finals, proudly presenting the championship title.
Another achievement came from badminton, where the Elektro team successfully secured 3rd place after a tense match. The trophy is proof of the persistence and hard work of the students in maintaining the good name of the Department of Electrical Engineering.
Not only about victory, an inspiring story also emerged from volleyball. Despite facing tough opponents, the Electrical Engineering volleyball team continued to show enthusiastic play, solid teamwork, and a strong fighting spirit. The cheers of support from their Elektro teammates made every smash and block feel meaningful, as if true victory lay in never giving up.
Meanwhile, in futsal, the Elektro team performed cohesively and with determination to win 2nd place. Despite the fierce competition, the spirit of brotherhood remained the main pillar strengthening the team’s steps on the field. POR FT 2025 is not just an event to win trophies, but also a space to carve stories, strengthen solidarity, and ignite the spirit of togetherness among students. Electrical Engineering proved that victory is not only measured by the trophies won, but also by the unwavering fighting spirit.
