The Department of Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University once again held the Visiting Professor 3 – Chapter Series 2 and 3 event on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Room B305, Building B, Electrical Engineering, UNDIP, and was also broadcast online via Zoom Meeting. The event featured two international speakers from renowned universities in Southeast Asia, namely Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB).

The first session featured Dr. Nurul Ezaila Alias from the Faculty of Technology and Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, with the topic “Engineering for Sustained Performance: Design, Modeling, and Reliability of Next-Generation MOSFET Architectures.” In his presentation, Dr. Nurul explained the application of Computing-in-Memory (CIM), which can improve the efficiency of smart devices, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate data processing. This session was moderated by Laily Asna Safira, S.T., M.T. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Undip.

The second session continued with a presentation by Dr. Arif Bramantoro from the School of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, who presented the topic “Practical AI – From Vision to Governance.” Dr. Arif discussed the practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), from vision development to responsible AI governance in the real world. This session was moderated by Enda Wista Sinuraya, S.T., M.T. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Undip.

Through this Visiting Professor program, the Department of Electrical Engineering, Undip, aims to broaden students’ knowledge of cutting-edge technological developments in the fields of smart memory and artificial intelligence, while also strengthening academic ties with foreign universities.
