Electrical Engineering Invites Practitioners to Give Lectures on Network Implementation and Data Communication

In order to continue to improve the achievements of Diponegoro University Main Performance Index 4 regarding the Teaching Practitioner Program on Campus and increase practical insights for its students, the Department of Electrical Engineering on every occasion continues to invite practitioners to impart their knowledge through various activities. One of these activities is collaborating with various BUMNs, including PT PLN and PT Telkom to be able to contribute by assigning their staff to provide material in existing classes. On this occasion, practitioners from the two BUMNs filled in for classes in the Data Network and Communication course for Semester 6 students in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. In this semester the lecturers included Agus Harya Maulana, ST, MT, a practitioner from PT PLN who is currently serving as Engineer II for Semarang UPDL Distribution Learning giving material on Network Implementation and Data Communication in the Electricity SCADA System Along with Case Examples at PLN. Another presenter from PT PLN is Muhammad Said Al Manshury, S.T. , M.T. who is now the Learning Senior Officer from the PLN Pusdiklat Semarang providing SCADA Communication Protocol material. Besides that, there were also presenters from PT Telkom, Dr. (Cand) Ir. Gunadi Dwi Hantoro, M.M., who currently serves as OSM Wireless Product Management, provided material on Unbreakable Wifi (802.11 Protocol) for Fixed Mobile Convergence Solutions. The Electrical Engineering Department assesses that with more and more practitioners providing material to students, it will further broaden insight into implementation in the field.
