Diponegoro University, through the Faculty of Engineering, held one of the series of Electrical Engineering Lustrum on September 29, 2023. The highlight of the event was a public lecture entitled “Instrumentation and Data Processing in the Indonesian Low-Speed Tunnel”.
The speaker at this event was Dr. Ivransa Zuhdi Pane, M.Eng., B.CS, who is a member of the Directorate of Laboratory Management, Research Facilities & Science Technology Areas of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The event was hosted by Moderator Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D, a lecturer who specializes in Electrical Engineering.
This public lecture divided the delivery of material into two different sessions. The first session entitled “Introduction to Aerodynamics, Aeroelastics & Aerocoustics Laboratory”, discussed the history, construction, facilities, and tests that have been carried out in the laboratory. The second session focused on “Instrumentation and Data Processing in the Indonesian Low Speed Wind Tunnel”, which discussed the stages of testing to test a product, test methods, as well as an explanation of data involving signal sensing, data acquisition, and data processing.
The participants of this public lecture were very enthusiastic and diverse, ranging from students to lecturers. They actively asked questions in the question and answer session, showing great interest in the topics discussed by Dr. Ivransa Zuhdi Pane, M.Eng., B.CS. This Public Lecture was an invaluable opportunity for the participants to gain deeper insights into product testing and data processes in the wind tunnel laboratory. In addition, this event also strengthened the relationship between Diponegoro University Electrical Engineering and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the contribution of Dr. Ivransa Zuhdi Pane, M.Eng., B.CS.
