UNDIP’S ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION TO SIGN MOA WITH AJEENKYA DY PATIL UNIVERSITY INDIA
The Department of Electrical Engineering with internationally accredited study programs (IABEE) continues to carry out collaborative activities with universities abroad in order to continue to improve its work at the international level as part of a World Class University. Activities that have been carried out include Adjuct Professor by bringing Professor Dr. Vijayakumar Varadarajan, who is affiliated with the University of New South Wales, Sidney, Australia and Ajeenkya DY Patil University, India.

Some of the activities carried out are providing material in public lectures with the theme of IoT implementation and strategies for publication in reputable journals indexed by Scopus and ISI. On this occasion, an audience was also held with the Vice Rector for Division IV who handles research, inonation, and cooperation, Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D. related to global cooperation in education and research. On a different occasion, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was also signed with Ajeenkya DY Patil University, India. The signing ceremony took place at Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, M.Sc Building, 3rd Floor. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jamari, S.T, M.T, welcomed the cooperation with this university. He hopes that in the future this cooperation can provide more benefits for both parties. “I hope we can expand this cooperation in the future,” said Prof. Jamari.

Prof. Dr. Vijayakumar Varadarajan, Dean of International Affairs from Ajeenkya DY Patil University, was very pleased with this collaboration. He hopes that Undip Faculty of Engineering as one of their international partners can continue to establish close relationships and exchange knowledge, so that it can become an international quality campus. “I really appreciate this cooperation. Hopefully we can continue to work together in the future,” he concluded.
