Diponegoro University held a two-day LG SAC EduCare event on Thursday and Friday, August 1 and 2, 2024, at the Electrical Engineering Department. The event was opened by Karnoto, S.T., M.T., who represented the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Ir. Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU.
On the first day, the event began with the registration of participants, followed by the opening. Instructors from LG, Innes Muthiah Annindita and Setya Intan, gave a presentation on the company profile, basics of air conditioning systems, and product introduction. A question and answer session was held before the lunch break. Afterwards, participants were invited to perform cooling load calculation and practice (LATS LOAD), as well as LATS HVAC practice. The first day of the event was closed with closing remarks and a group photo session.
On the second day, LG instructors, Harri Purwanto and Rionaldo, discussed VRF system installation and troubleshooting. Another question and answer session was held before the lunch break. Afterwards, participants made observations at the Faculty of Public Health. The event ended with a quiz, closing remarks, and a group photo session.
This event is expected to provide a deep understanding of air conditioning technology and improve the participants’ practical skills in this field. Thus, participants are expected to apply the knowledge gained in the world of work and contribute to the development of refrigeration technology.
