Semarang, 19 October 2024 – The Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME) of Diponegoro University held a national seminar entitled “Utilization of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) in Renewable Energy for Indonesian Future.” The event was part of the Unlimited x Alumni Day 2024 program, which was attended by 183 participants from various departments and universities. The majority of the participants, around 85%, came from Diponegoro University (UNDIP).
The seminar featured two keynote speakers who are experts in their fields. Dr. Gunadi Dwi Hantaro, who is OSM Wireless Product Management at PT Telkom, discussed the great potential of AIoT technology in advancing renewable energy in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Abdul Syakur, S.T., M.T., IPU, a lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University, provided insights into the application of the technology in a more sustainable future energy system. The seminar was guided by Dafa Naufal, HR SRE Diponegoro University for the period 2023/2024, who acted as moderator and maintained the dynamics of the discussion during the event.
The chief executive, Yusuf Nadim Irawan, expressed his pride for the entire committee. “Honestly, I’m proud of the entire committee from Unlimited and Alumni Day. Especially towards the last week when everything changed, from no prospects to big prospects. Anyway, very high appreciation for the committee and also the seminar participants who were above expectations,” said Yusuf. He also mentioned that the seminar included interactive material explanation and Q&A sessions, with participants actively asking questions to the speakers. Some participants who actively participated also received special merchandise from Indosat Business.
This event is expected to be a trigger of enthusiasm for students to further explore the application of AIoT technology in renewable energy for a better future of Indonesia.
