The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University successfully held the 2025 New Student Admission (PMB) with the theme “Together We Rise, With Steady Minds”. The series of activities began with the Pre-PKKMB on August 16, 2025, followed by the PKKMB on August 19, 2025, and Character Education (Pendikar) on August 19, 20, and 22, 2025.
This activity was attended by new Electrical Engineering students of Undip 2025 and was held offline at the Faculty of Engineering. With the full support of lecturers, the Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME), and the committee chaired by M. Farhan Noufal Abiyyu, this year’s PMB was lively and full of a spirit of togetherness.
On the PKKMB day, new students received various introductory and preparatory materials. The Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Ir. Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU, introduced the academic community, the department environment, and the Electrical Engineering Alumni Association (IATE). In addition, Ir. Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., provided material on academic regulations, while Yuli Christiyono, S.T., M.T., explained the UNDIP SIAP curriculum. This event also featured guest speakers, namely Ir. Teguh Prakoso, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., with the topic “Becoming a Young Leader with Pancasila Spirit, Ethics, and Ready to Inspire on Campus”, as well as Karnoto, S.T., M.T., with the topic “Fostering a Visionary Generation that Masters Technology, Revives Local Wisdom, and Maintains K3L to Address Global Challenges.” In addition, Enda Wista Sinuraya, S.T., M.T., Alfia Putri Wulandari, S.T., M.T., and Laily Asna Safira, S.T., M.T. delivered material for Character Education (Pendikar) activities.
The Pendikar series, held on August 19, 20, and 22, 2025, focused on character development and fostering a sense of community among students. Activities were packaged in the form of group discussions, educational games, and moral reflection. Various sessions such as Dare to Care, Care Cards, Small Steps Big Impact, Integrity, and One Picture Many Souls encouraged new students to get to know themselves better, care for their social environment, and uphold the value of integrity. The highlight of Pendikar was marked by an art performance (PENSI), the announcement of the best participants and groups, the screening of an after movie, and the dynamics of the batch that strengthened the bond of togetherness among new students.
The chief executive, M. Farhan Noufal Abiyyu, expressed his impression that the 2025 Electrical Engineering PMB was a very memorable experience because it created an atmosphere full of enthusiasm. According to him, this activity not only introduced the campus environment, lecturers, and student organizations, but also fostered a sense of togetherness among new students. He hopes that what has been experienced together during this PMB will not only be a beautiful memory, but also the beginning of the formation of a solid, supportive, and accomplished Electrical Engineering family.
Through the implementation of PMB 2025, the Electrical Engineering Department of Undip reaffirms its commitment to shaping a generation of students who are integrity-driven, adaptive, and ready to face global challenges with a spirit of togetherness.
