The public lecture or Visiting Lecture is the 8th Lustrum series of the Electrical Engineering Department. This event will be moderated by Ir. Yosua Alvin Adi Soetrisno, S.T.,M.Eng.,IPM who presented the guest speaker Sutrisno, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. who have completed their S-3 at King Saud University (KSU). His areas of expertise are Artificial intelligence (AI) and biomedical engineering.
Resource persons starting from 2018-present are teaching staff (lecturers) at T. Electro, Sebelas Maret University. In addition, he has work experience and positions, namely as follows.
2019 – present : Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Division, Quality Assurance Team, Faculty of Engineering UNS
2019 – present : Head of Computer and Network Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, UNS
2018 – present : Founder and Supervisor of the Hubbul Khoir Community Islamic Boarding School, Sukoharjo
2010 – 2018 : Researcher at King Saud University (KSU), Saudi Arabia
2016– 2017 : Part time research assistant at University of Sharjah, UAE
2010 (May-July) : Web developer at CV. EFMS (publisher), Surabaya, Indonesia
One of the studies he conducted was entitled “Intelligent Surveillance Systems to Improve Security and Safety in Office Buildings”. He also does community service, one of which is “Computer and Design Training to Create a Digital Literacy Village.” Ngentak Hamlet, Bulakrejo Village, Sukoharjo, Sukoharjo, Central Java”. With the presence of Sutrisno, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. as a guest speaker at the Visiting Professor event this time, the Department of Electrical Engineering hopes that public lecture participants, especially Electrical Engineering students, will benefit and be able to absorb as much knowledge as possible from the resource person so that they can make the best use of it.
