Public Lecture IV was held online on Friday, October 28 2022 with the topic “The Role of Renewable Energy in the Provision of Green Energy in the Electrical System”. This activity began at 08.00 WIB and ended at 11.15 WIB moderated by Mr. Denis, S.T., M.Eng.
The event was opened by the MC at 08.30 WIB with the opening followed by singing the Indonesia Raya Anthem. Then it was continued with a speech by Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. as the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department. After that, the moderator read out the event rules and then continued with the presentation of material from the speakers.
The speaker at this Public Lecture is Dr. Iswadi Hasyim Rosma, ST, MT, PhD, MIEEE who is a Senior Lecturer, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Riau. He explained several renewable energies that could become a provider of green energy in the electricity system, especially in Indonesia.
The event then continued with a question and answer session. The question and answer session was led by a moderator and attended by participants in General Lecture IV with great enthusiasm.
At the end of the event the moderator conveyed the conclusions of the speakers who had delivered the material. Then the event ended with documentation and closing by the moderator.
