Nine Diponegoro University (Undip) Electrical Engineering students participated in the Student Go International program to Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, on February 17-21, 2025. This program aims to broaden academic horizons, strengthen inter-university cooperation, and provide international experience for students.

On the first day, the participants were welcomed to an opening session at the College of Engineering, UiTM. The event included an introduction to the faculty, remarks from student representatives, as well as a student presentation on Exploring Key E&E Topics in Indonesia which discussed electricity and technology trends in Indonesia. On the second day, participants took part in cultural visits in Kuala Lumpur, including hiking in Taman Tugu as well as visits to Tugu Negara and Kuala Lumpur city center. The third day was filled with an industry visit to CyberSecurity Malaysia to understand more about cybersecurity and related technologies. The fourth day was filled with short lectures on the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other latest technologies, as well as visits to research laboratories at UiTM. Meanwhile, the fifth day was closed with a closing ceremony and a farewell luncheon.

With this activity, it is hoped that the academic relationship between Undip and UiTM Electrical Engineering will strengthen, and more students will be able to have similar experiences in the future.
