FORTEI Regional Meeting III in 2024 will be held on May 11 at KPLT Hall 3rd Floor, FT, Yogyakarta State University. The event was attended by 45 Electrical Engineering study programs that are members of the Indonesian Electrical Engineering Higher Education Forum (FORTEI).Ir. Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Electrical Engineering lecturer from Diponegoro University (UNDIP), who two years ago was elected as vice chairman of FORTEI, now serves as chairman of FORTEI.
The series of events began with the re-registration of participants. After registration, the event was opened by the MC who guided the entire activity. Furthermore, all participants together sang the national anthem Indonesia Raya as an opening. The event continued with remarks and the official opening of the Fortei Regional III Meeting by the chairman of FORTEI, Ir. Munawar Agus Riyadi.
The main material at this event was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Mauridhi Hery Purnomo, M.Eng., with the topic “Strategies for Building Domestic and Foreign Research Cooperation in Electrical Engineering Study Programs”. This material is expected to provide new insights and effective strategies for all participants. After the presentation of the material, a question and answer session and material discussion was held to provide opportunities for participants to ask questions and further discuss the topics that had been presented.
After the question and answer session, the event continued with breaks, prayers, and meals (Ishoma). After Ishoma, participants attended the FORTEI workshop and discussion which aimed to discuss various issues and developments in the field of Electrical Engineering, as well as build synergy between study programs, then the event ended with a closing.
