Diponegoro University has announced the teams that have successfully passed the university-level Student Creativity Program (PKM) proposal selection. A number of teams led by electrical engineering students have attracted attention with ideas that present the latest solutions to various problems faced by society.
The first team was led by Muhammad Afiq Ramadhan Oktaviyanto, with the project title “Early Detection Tool for Falling Trees with Weather Prediction and Nutrient Content in Soil Based on IoT and Machine Learning” in the PKM Group C (PKM KC) field supervised by Dr. Iwan Setiawan, ST., MT. Followed by Helmy Yusuf with the project “Indoor Electricity Management based on Machine Learning for Energy Efficiency Using Human Activity Recognition (HAR)” which is also included in the PKM Group C (PKM KC) field with guidance from Ir. Denis, S.T., M.Eng., IPM, ASEAN Eng.
Next, Yusuf Nadim Irawan’s team came up with the project “Smart Riding Helmet: Innovation of Anti-drowsiness Helmet Based on Machine Learning with CNN Algorithm” in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC), and was guided by Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. Nobel Al Maududy carried out the project “SIPOLAR: Water Pollution Prediction System Based on Total Suspended Solid with Solar Powered SARIMA Method as a Clean Water Solution” under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Aris Triwiyatno, S.T., M.T., IPU, in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC).
Meanwhile, Carlen Rafael H Sihombing designed the project “Automatic Cultivation of Spirulina platensis on Household Scale based on Internet of Things with Solar Energy Implementation to Support Sustainable Lifestyle” in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC), under the guidance of Dr. Iwan Setiawan, ST., MT. Athari Rafli Rinaldi brought the project “ScanCare: Skin disease detection application using machine learning and computer vision to provide solutive and specific drugs” in the PKM Group C (PKM KC) field, guided by Ir. M. Arfan, S.Kom., M.Eng. Rizal Fadhilah came up with the project “Moss Cleaning Robot on Pedestrian Paths” under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Aris Triwiyatno, S.T., M.T., IPU, in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC).
Farhan Nugraha Yogatrisna presented the project “Accident Preventer: Early Detection of Microsleep Based on Artificial Intelligence to Prevent Road Accidents” with guidance from Ir. Hadha Afrisal, S.T., M.Sc., IPP, in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC). Faisal Ismail Asadullah brought the project “Innovation of Automatic Life Vest as an Effort to Minimize the Risk of Injury in Fall Prone Patients with IoT Integration and Website Based” under the guidance of Dr.-Ing. Ir. Paryanto, ST, MT, IPM., ASEAN Eng., in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC). Finally, Tiko Wibisono brought the project “Innovation of Microcontroller-Based Vision Vest to Help Detect Objects Around Blind Patients” under the guidance of Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., in the field of PKM Group C (PKM KC).
