On May 12, 2023 Telkom University held a visit to the Department of Electrical Engineering. The visit was attended by the Director of the Telkom University Internet of Things (IoT) Research Center, Dr. Aloysius Adya Pramudita with the Telkom University IoT Team. In addition, from Electrical Engineering there is the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department Aghus Sofwan, S.T., MT, Ph.D., along with Teguh Prakoso, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and Sukiswo, S.T., M.T.
The visit discussed IoT, the IoT Research Team shared their official visit to the River Basin Center (BBWS). The team is currently submitting IoT installation research off the coast of Semarang, the research is aimed at predicting tidal floods which still frequently occur in Semarang which will then be analyzed on how to anticipate them. In addition they also visited the power, electronics and KPS laboratories. While in the laboratory, the Telkom University IoT Team and Parties from Undip Electrical Engineering discussed the latest activities carried out in the laboratory and saw the practicum module used. Furthermore, the Telkom University IoT Team monitored FTTH or Fiber To The Home which was given by Telkom University to Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University.
