The Workshop and Coaching Design Contest organized by Infineon Electronic Company – Singapore has been successfully held at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Diponegoro University (Undip), Building A, Conference Room. This event is part of a series of activities that took place from July 1 to 5 in five major cities in Indonesia: Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.
On July 3 in Semarang, the Threenfinit team from Diponegoro University consisting of Dhika Persadha (21060121120023), Wirawan Wicaksono (21060121130063), and Ferdian Dicky Darmawan (21060121120014) participated in this activity. They received guidance from experienced mentors from Infineon Indonesia, namely Thio Yulizar and Abdul Hakim, as well as Pong Chi Leong from Infineon Singapore. The Head of Study Program, Ir. Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and Secretary of Study Program, Yuli Christyono, S.T., M.T., were also present as mentors.
This activity aims to discuss issues and troubleshooting faced by the finalists related to the ModusToolbox program utility and its implementation on the evalboard used. This mini-workshop was designed to assist the ten finalists from different campuses in resolving their technical issues.
Mr. Pong Chi Leong acted as the main trainer, providing mentoring for the consolidation of various problems in prototyping the competition. This activity used a hands-on discussion method, where students practiced and pointed out the problems they encountered, then the mentor helped solve the problems. With this interactive method, it is expected that the participants can overcome various technical challenges and produce high-quality prototypes for the competition.
