Another brilliant achievement was made by Undip’s Electrical Engineering student team in the World Invention Competition Exhibition (WICE) 2024 which took place in Malaysia on September 21-24. The team consisting of Guntur Awaludin Saptadi, Fahri Rizki Saputra, Maulana Reyhan Savero, and Ariya Permana Putra, won three prestigious awards at once, namely the Gold Medal Award, Malaysia MYSO Special Award, and IYSA Grand Prize Award.
Under the guidance of Hadha Afrisal, S.T., M.Sc., IPP, the team created “Optimization of Warehouse Automated Guided Vehicle with Navigation based on Indoor Positioning System and Artificial Intelligence Algorithm as an Increase in Industrial Warehousing Efficiency”. This innovation is considered capable of bringing new efficiency in warehouse management, so it deserves an award at the international event.
Maulana Reyhan Savero, one of the team members, expressed his pride for the experience. “It was great to see the development of technology from other countries and meet delegates from various countries,” he said. He also hopes that research in the field of Electrical Engineering can continue to participate in competition events both at the national and international levels, and utilize the time as a student to develop.
