On January 21, 2024, the National Work Meeting of the Undip Electrical Engineering Alumni Association (IATE) for the period 2023 – 2028 was successfully held. The Chairperson of IATE, thanked the participants for attending and revealed the focus of the IATE work program on three main aspects, namely internal management, external management, and contributions to society and the state. Remarks from the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Undip, also implied gratitude for the contribution of IATE during the previous management and expressed hopes for IATE’s support for the development of the Department.
The inauguration of the management was the next point to be highlighted, where the Decree (SK) of the management will be issued based on the Minutes of the National Conference. The discussion of IATE’s Articles of Association and Bylaws has also been conducted, with the Decree on the registration of the Articles of Association to be followed up by the Secretary General and the Daily Chair.
No less important, the formation of the Electrical Engineering Alumni Foundation (YATE) by the Undip Electrical Engineering Alumni Association is a strategic step. The process of forming an IATE legal entity is ongoing, and during that time, fundraising uses the Undip YATE account. The organizational structure of the Electrical Engineering Alumni Foundation has also been established with trustees Hery Isnanto, Sukiswo, and Abdul Syakur; supervisors Supari, Slamet Riyadi, Fariyono, M Haddin, and Aghus Sofwan; and administrators with Chairman Gunawan, Secretary Nur Saudi, and Treasurer Ayub Ajulian.
The working meeting also discussed the IATE 2023-2028 work program agreed upon by the participants, in which each Person in Charge of Activities (PIC) will coordinate with related teams for program implementation. The maturation of the work program by each PIC together with the IATE management is the next agenda, with plans to socialize the results of the Raker to all IATE members through online media on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 20.00 – 22.00 WIB. With all these steps, it is hoped that IATE can make a positive contribution and become more advanced in supporting the development of society and the nation.
