DIKLAR HME, in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University (Undip), is once again holding an educational event through the Visiting Professor Series – Batch 3 Chapter 7 program. This event will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, starting at 3:30 p.m. WIB, and will take place online via Zoom Meeting.
This event featured an experienced academic, Iswadi Hasyim Rosma, ST, MT, PhD, MIEEE, from Electrical Engineering, University of Riau, as the main speaker. The session was moderated by Alfia Putri Wulandari, S.T., M.T., from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Diponegoro University. In this intensive session, participants gained in-depth knowledge about the basic concepts of Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), understood the important role of PMUs in monitoring and maintaining the stability of power systems, and studied concrete case studies of PMU applications in real power systems.
This event aimed to deepen the insight of students and practitioners on topics that are highly relevant in the world of Modern Power Systems. This seventh session specifically addressed the crucial topic of “Using Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) Data for Power System Stability Analysis.” PMUs are recognized as a key technology in Smart Grids, vital for real-time monitoring and control of power systems.
