On November 28, 2023, a Visiting Professor event was successfully held with the theme “Distributed Sensing and Cellular System: From Geographic Topologies to Radio Networks.” The two keynote speakers who provided in-depth insights at the event were Prof. Bernad Pottier, a professor in computer science at Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), and Dr. Ir. Onil Nazra Persada Goubier, President and co-founder of Cirela NG0, as well as an R&D engineer in computing.
The event, which was attended by students, academics, and professionals in the information technology field, provided a rare opportunity to hear the views of two highly recognized experts in academia and industry. The presentations went in-depth on distributive sensing, exploring various geographical topologies that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of sensing systems, and the important role of cellular systems in the development of radio technology.
The event not only provided new knowledge but also became an interactive platform where participants could discuss and ask questions directly to the speakers. The exchange of ideas that took place during the Q&A session added value to the event, allowing participants to gain deeper insights into the latest trends and developments in the field of distributive sensing and cellular systems.
